DIY Glitter Champagne Bottles & Tassel Straw Charms

Prep: Soak bottles in warm, soapy water. 10 minutes should do it!

Once your bottles have soaked, carefully use your blade to pull away the corner of the label from the bottle.

Now, cover your bottle in Mod Podge up to the foil rim. I used a paper towel as a sponge! 🙂

Sprinkle the bottle with your glitter.

*Once the first coat was dry, I chose to do a second application of Mod Podge and glitter on the bottles!

Voila!

Now, onto the tassel straw charms!

You’ll need to cut your foil wrapping paper into approx. 5 in. x 6 in. pieces.

*Foil paper can be found at most party stores on the tissue paper isle.

Once you cut your pieces, fold each piece in half, hot dog style!

Starting at the open end, cut thin strips, up to about 1/2 and inch away from your crease/fold.

Now, open your fold and roll up the connecting center of your fringe pieces, twist that rolled center into a loop, wrap with wire to secure, and slide onto your straws!

There you have it! Quick, easy, DIY Bridesmaids’ gifts!
