We absolutely love Christmas traditions in our home! New, old, repurposed, you name it! Traditions can be free, easy, inexpensive, or reusable year after year! One of my favorites to do with the boys is a Christmas Eve box!

Like most kids, by December 24 each year, our boys are itching to open a gift! So, to keep from them opening something special from under the tree that’s planned for Christmas morning, I create a fun Christmas Eve box for them each year! Normally, it includes simple things like a great holiday book, jammies, a sweet treat or snack, and something plushy or fun that they can bring to bed that night!
For this year’s box, I wanted to do a super fun theme that would coordinate with one of our favorite Christmas movies, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer!
What’s in it?
- Matching family Christmas jammies
- Ornament ball sipper cups (Walmart)
- Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer book
- Reindeer sleep masks (Bealls)
- Rudolph themed decorative cookies
- Rudolph plushies
- Rudolph coloring book (Dollar Tree)
- Snowflake mug hugger marshmallows
- Rudolph Finger Puppets
- FREE Printable tag!
This is always a super fun tradition for the boys and something that keeps them occupied while I finish any last-minute wrapping, tidying up, and prepping for the big day! Hop on over to my Instagram to see a close-up of inside the box in my stories HERE!!
