Have your kids ever asked you to make a DIY Lemonade Stand? I think our boys have asked us every Summer for the last six years. Without fail, the season ends and I feel like I’ve let them down. This year, that all changed! We decided in the first week of Summer that we’d build, create, and set up our long desired lemonade stand using a free printable set that I created!
inspired by our 30 Day Summer Activity Challenge with my friend Bessy from over at Simply Bessy, we created a DIY Lemonade Stand that will last for years to come and needs minimal set-up!

How to set up your DIY Lemonade Stand Printable Set:
Using this easy tutorial to create our rolling stand, we set up our basket of lemons, drink dispensers, and signage. The printable set made it easy for the boys to decorate themselves! I pre-cut everything for them and gave them a roll of tape with a few clothespins. They really enjoyed the simplicity of it while making it look like they created something out of a movie! My goal in creating this set was to make the prep as easy as possible and versatile! Whether your kids are playing pretend in their play room or setting up a supervised lemonade stand with real cash and lemonade, this gives them the freedom they need for Summer play with only a little help from an adult!

When it came to building the stand itself, I wanted something that would roll on casters, be inexpensive to create with supplies I could find almost anywhere, and would work as a grocery store, flower shop, or other pretend play sets!
Ways to play with the DIY Lemonade Stand Printable Set:
What I love most about this set is that it can truly be used with a play kitchen, outdoor play house, at a picnic table, or with a DIY lemonade stand made from crates like the one we made. I highly encourage you to allow your kids the freedom of how they envision playing with this set! Maybe give them a handful of coins to play with while talking through coin values and making change. You could also invite friends over for a playdate to make it extra fun and make sure to let your neighbors know if you’re serving real lemonade so they can pop by for a refreshing cup of fresh squeezed (or store bought) lemonade!
