When it came to planning Deck’s Toy Story Party, my vision was a subtle lean into the characters, focusing on a combined color-way of both Woody & Buzz. I envisioned a touch of magic with light purple hues mixed with the browns and yellows of Woody’s vest and just a touch of toy nostalgia throughout!.
What I love most about the decor I used for this Toy Story themed party is that is has all the joy and fun of the Toy Story characters without the loud color palette one may expect from a typical character themed party.

Toy Story Party Details
I love all the little details from this party. In planning this Toy Story party, I focused on those really present nods to the original movie. I included things like mini packing boxes, wooden snakes, Woody’s boots, and green Army men.
Toy Story Party Food
Since we had a more time consuming activity for the kids at this party, I leaned into Pizza Planet for the menu and ordered pizzas. I typically prefer to do serve a full spread of brunch or barbecue for our party guests to fill them with an actual meal while they celebrate with us but, this party needed something that was less demanding of everyone’s time and easy to eat and clean up! To keep with the theme, we served pizza!
Toy Story PARTY TREATS
For party treats, I went with the usual and our guest favorites: cookies and Publix raspberry filled cupcakes! I topped the cupcakes with mini Toy Story figurines from Dollar Tree, which doubled as another favor for the kids to add to their favor boxes!
Toy Story Party Favors & Treats
I’m super passionate about showing gratitude to our friends and family who choose to spend time during their weekend to celebrate our boys’ birthdays. I love to send them home with favors that make them feel special & take a piece of our party home with them!
I couldn’t resist all the nostalgic touches throughout this party so of course when it came to the favors, I had to pick up these adorable Woody & Buzz PEZ Dispensers! I grabbed a little crinkle paper and used a black marker to write on the boxes. I also added in some temp tattoos, green Army men, Sheriff badges, and my favorite: mini Etch-a-Sketches!

Toy Story Party Decor
When it comes to the decorations, I always design a custom party printable set that coordinates with the theme and really pulls in the color palette of the party! For Deck’s party, I designed a custom printable set with invitations, thank you tags, signs, food labels, and straw flags to match the boutique style, simplistic theming of the other party supplies.
SHOP Deck’s Toy Story Printables in my shop!
Like party favors, I love making our little guests feel special with their own place to snack, do activities, and chill. So, I put most of my time and planning into coordinating kid tables! I’m using my FAVORITE party planning hack that I created last year: DIY foldable kids’ table! Using the LINNMON table top from IKEA and these folding table legs, I created gorgeous, reusable, easy-to-store tables for all of our parties!
My favorite part of these table settings were the cowboy holster napkin holders and of course, the Woody’s boot centerpieces. The boots are actually a retired cup that was for sale in the Disneyland parks which I found on eBay. I filled them with Woody figures, wooden snakes (“there’s a snake in my boot!”) and baby’s breath floral.

Paint Your Own Spaceship
When it comes to the boys’ parties, I always make sure to pick an activity or something fun to occupy the kids! For this party, to go with the theme, I ordered these wooden spaceships and filled empty paint wells with bright colored paints. They loved creating all of their own spaceships together to paint and take home as an extra souvenir!
