The first thing you’ll notice as you enter this rainbow colored interactive playground is the attention to detail! Everything here looks like it came straight off the set of Sesame Street! There are SO many photo spots and interactive play areas that you could quite literally spend your entire day at SeaWorld in this area of the park!
FAQ’s:
- Is it included with admission to SeaWorld?
- Yes!
- Where is it located in the park?
- In the back right corner behind Shamu Stadium
- Are there rides?
- Yes!
- Is it big?
- It is! I was pleasantly surprised at how big this interactive area is and all of the rides! It’s definitely worth the price of a SeaWorld ticket in itself!
If you enter from behind Shamu Stadium, you’ll want to make the Bike Shop your first stop! You’ll see the first of many interactive games for kids to play! Stop to take a chance at winning the Bike Shop Challenge and while you’re at it, pop in to Hooper’s Store for a bubble wand! You’ll be happy you grabbed one! There are various areas throughout the Community Center that are interactive with your Elmo bubble wand! Just wave your wand in front of a yellow star to make magic happen!
Interactive Activities:
- Take the Bike Shop Tricycle Challenge in front of the Bike Shop
- Yip Yip’s Mail Slot
- Ring Bert & Ernie’s Doorbell
- Play the Wacky Washing Adventure at the Laundromat
- Create-A-Monster
- Cookie Monsters Foodie Truck Challenge
- Talk to Elmo at Elmo’s Window
- Knock on Oscar’s Trash Can
- 2-Headed Monster Pipe Phone
What I personally love most about Sesame Street Land is that there are interactive spots scattered all throughout! If your kids are anything like mine, they’ll love the freedom to touch buttons here, and there are MANY! They will literally get their fix of pressing buttons while you’re here!
FAQ: You don’t have to have a bubble wand for all interactions!
At the Community Center behind Hooper’s kids are able to create their very own monster by touch screen! They select the color, facial features, clothes, and once they’ve finished it’s on display on a huge digital window wall!
Once they’re done, make sure to explore the rest of the garden area and doors in the Community Center! There are so many fun interactive sights & sounds!

Just across from Hooper’s Store is the Count’s Count Around Playground and Rubber Ducky Water Works (a splash pad)!
The boys loved these two spots! Playgrounds and splash pads are their jam so, I was glad that I packed swim suits for our trip!
What to Pack:
- Phone or Camera
- Swim Suits
- Water Shoes (or wear them!)
- Towel
- Spending Money for Interactive Bubble Wand
- Wet Bag
- Sunscreen
Meet & Greets:
It was so exciting to introduce the boys to my beloved childhood friends! Many of the popular characters we know and love walked around to meet & greet guests in the park! We met Zoey, Oscar the Grouch, Rosita, The Count, & Cookie Monster!
Where to meet characters-
- You’ll see characters walking through the area or stationed in designated areas that are hard to miss
- For specific characters, you’ll want to head BackStage to the indoor meet & greet photo spot
*Photo Pass photographers are located inside the indoor BackStage Meet & Greet spot!
One thing we couldn’t miss was grabbing a special treat and taking a seat on the sidewalk to watch the street parade! You definitely won’t want to miss hanging around until the parade comes by! The characters and dancers dance, sing, and encourage kids to join them in the street party! The music was GREAT & the boys and I all enjoyed dancing with Bert & Ernie!
What About Rides?
When it comes to rides, our boys are 7, 5, and 2! While we couldn’t ride all of the rides, we were all able to do several here in Sesame Street Land! Some of the rides do have a height requirement and would be a little much for my 5 and 2 year old who don’t do even the slightest of kid thrill rides but, our 7 year old would have done great & enjoyed them!
Ride Requirements:
*Guests below 42 inches must be accompanied by a supervising companion.
**Guests below 36 inches must be accompanied by a supervising companion.
- *Abby’s Flower Tower
- **Big Bird’s Twirl ‘N’ Whirl
- *Cookie Drop!
- **Elmo’s Choo Choo Train
- *Slimey’s Slider
- *Super Grover’s Box Car Derby Guests must be at least 38 inches to ride
