Planning a Walt Disney World trip for the fam but don’t know where to find the perfect family Star Wars outfit to wear to Galaxy’s Edge? I feel you! We love coordinating as a family but, I’m not totally a fan of the matchy matchy family reunion style tees so, I do my best to coordinate a single theme or color palette that looks stellar in photos of our fam!
This entire family ensemble for our most recent trip to Galaxy’s Edge cost just under $100. Yes! For ALL 6 of us! Which, if you’re looking online right now for matching family tee shirts, the shirts alone for a family of 6 can cost you double that price! I’ve linked everything here for you. Before you shop, make sure to check out THIS post where I talk about my favorite places to shop for Disney clothes and have linked some of our trending favorites!
Favorite Photo Spots at Galaxy’s Edge
After a long awaited 23 months, we are finally Walt Disney World Annual Passholders again. WOO! YAY! We’ve waited so long for this moment and are happy to call Disney “home” again. With much excitement, we opted in for the $99 add-on for Photo Pass onto my annual pass. Let me tell you right now, as a big family and even as professional photographers ourselves, the Photo Pass is hands down 110% worth it. If you’re on the fence with it or don’t know if you should budget for it, I would definitely say it adds so much value to our family and I genuinely think it will do the same for you. Let’s say though, you don’t opt in for the Photo Pass or you simply just want to DIY it with a friend or your hubby! You’ve got this girl! I’ll let you in on a few secrets for my favorite photo spots at Galaxy’s Edge, whether you have the Photo Pass or not!
Best Photo Spots & Where to Find Photo Pass Photographers:
So, here’s the deal- Photo Pass locations aren’t always guaranteed to be in a specific spot. However, there are a handful of places to look for photographers inside the park at Galaxy’s Edge. Keep an eye out for Cast Members in navy pants, a tan vest, and white shirt with a camera and iPad at these spots:
Even if you’re not using the Photo Pass system, you can always ask a Photo Pass photographer to take your photo so you can view it in your account later with a water mark and always ask if they’ll snap a pic of you with your own phone or camera!
- Millennium Falcon at Spaceport (if you don’t see them right in front of what seems like the perfect photo spot, look around under the bridge that you pass under to get to Smuggler’s Run! You’ll see them hanging around here during or after the rain!
- A-Wing Starfigher and X-Wing Starfigher at Resistance Mobile Command Post
- First Order TIE Echelon
- Landspeeders at Black Spire Station (or the teal elevator door just before where the Landspeeders are parked)

Now the moment you’re really here for- How to get your hands on this entire family Star Wars outfit! Like I mentioned at the beginning of this post, the entire look you see here (minus a few things we already had) was under $100 for all six of us!
I absolutely love the boys shorts. They’re a bleach-dyed sweat short in toddler and big boy sizes. For our oldest, rather than putting him in a character shirt, I mixed it up a little with matching shorts to the middle boys but a neutral baseball tee. Our tiniest rocked this Disney baby Yoda romper that I absolutely love. It’s one of my favorites so, I bought it in his current size and a size up for the future! With stars, stripes, floppy 3D ears, and a back graphic that says “Too Cute I am”, this one turns a lot of heads when he’s wobbling his little self through the park! It even grabs the attention of some of our favorite Star Wars characters (which is always a bonus)!
For my look, I wore a Men’s size Large Mandalorian tee with bike shorts and one of James’ flannel shirts tied around my waist. Mix it with a funky hairstyle and you’ll nail the look like a rockstar! I was happy to make the large work as an oversized tee for myself so James can wear it in the future!
