Hip, hop, the hippity hop! Easter’s almost here!
If you’re like me, you scramble (like an egg) the week before, trying to fill those eggs with everything you can find from Target Dollar spot, hoping it serves joy for at least 48 hours before it hits the trash or recycles itself into the “unwanted things” bin. Each year, I set out to fill their eggs with something of value. I consider three things when choosing items to fill their bright plastic ovals: Does it- encourage learning, saving, or play without ending up in our toy waste land?! If so, it makes the cut! Also, food. Food is always good.
Check out this list of things that I usually consider when filling the boys’ eggs or eggs for friends of ours with daughters!
Some of these items fall into more than one category so, they usually make it into our eggs yearly!
