‘I am always excited for this time of year when the sun is starting to peek out a bit more and it’s time to refresh our home so, I’m starting out this year with Valentine’s Day kids bedroom decor for the boys’ bedrooms! Why We Decorate The Boys’ Bedrooms:
If there’s one thing our boys look forward to, it’s a space that makes them feel celebrated! While we don’t decorate their room for every holiday, I do love to give them a little extra love when I find cute finds while I’m out shopping or browsing online. I always feel like it adds a little celebration to an average day.

I absolutely love this little spot in their bedroom! This dedicated reading area has become a place of quiet, silliness, cuddles, and so much love. Especially, this time of year! Deck is such a puppy fanatic so, to give his favorite puppies a little pizazz for the holiday, I added velvet ribbon tied into a bow as their collars. He absolutely loves it! I also added his favorite Valentine’s Day books and this BEAUTIFUL sign from Opal + Olive! These personalized teddy bears were also a favorite this year from our Valentine’s breakfast (check that out in this post here!)

An Easy Way to Add Seasonal Decor to Kids’ Spaces
One of my favorite ways to add inexpensive seasonal decor to this room and our play room is by adding seasonal pieces to our play kitchens! It’s so easy to find (or make) items like play food, small toys, garlands, etc! I often times find things like that at Target’s Dollar Spot, Dollar Tree, or Walmart! These play chocolates were from this year (2025) Target Dollar Spot! I put them in a $1 tin chocolate box and the boys have played with them SO much! I also picked up this ADORABLE heart shaped felt cookie set! It was from our Valentine’s breakfast for the boys (check that post out here!)
