For our last vacation at WDW Resort, we packed our itinerary full of character meals! Since the big boys are finally old enough to interact with the characters, I knew that spending more time in a controlled, one-on-one setting would totally blow them away! They couldn’t wait to be hungry again after each meal just so they could see which character they would be meeting next!
‘Ohana was definitely one of our TOP picks as far as character dining goes and has already made it’s way onto our My Disney Experience Reservations for our upcoming Disney Vacation this Spring!
One of the most memorable things about the Best Friends Breakfast at ‘Ohana is the pineapple bread they deliver to your table as you’re being seated! Aside from Stitch being a member at this meal, the boys are excited to get down on more of that delicious, sweet, breakfast bread!
It’s not often that I thoroughly enjoy and remember a dining experience with the boys when I’m solo (even those off of Disney property). It can be tough to juggle three kids, a stroller, a massively filled backpack, and other random necessities when doing Disney with three littles. I was so grateful that even with our extended wait, we were taken well care of during both our waiting and dining periods at ‘Ohana! Mickey greeted guests in front of the restaurant while cast members photographed and scanned your magic bands  to save to guests’ photo passes! I was super excited when one of the cast members checking us in, noticed that I was a mom of three without an extra set of adult hands with me and made sure to have us seated in a large table by a window with excellent views of the pool and room to spread out AS WELL AS insisting that I bring our stroller along just in case I may need something out of it during our breakfast or if the boys would feel more comfortable staying in the stroller throughout parts of the meal! (Most strollers were parked outside of the restaurant so, I felt like a real VIP! Thanks Rex!)
Breakfast here is served Family Style! Which again was another huge advantage when dining as the only adult with three small kids! Your food is brought to your table in a large skillet only moments after being seated! Since Family Style meals are “all you care to enjoy” (aka all you can eat) you can sit and dine for as long as you’d like until your bellies are full! The boys ordered two additional servings of Mickey and Stitch waffles while I indulged and ordered an extra helping of the sweet breakfast ham! (Totally out of the norm for me but, it was SO good that I couldn’t resist!)
Halfway through our meal, the maraca parade formed in the center of the restaurant and K couldn’t wait to jump in on the fun! Since Linc and Col were already fully involved in their plates and weren’t going to stop any time soon, a cast member volunteered to hold K’s hand and walk with him for the parade! Superrrrr sweet!
Once we finished our meal, we headed back to Disney’s Beach Club Resort to play at Stormalong Bay!
