Kick off the spooky season with an easy, sweet treat you can make with your little ones. This quick, easy, relatively mess-free recipe is one that we love doing every year with the boys. Caramel popcorn is tasty on it’s own but, add in a few extras to make it a chocolate popcorn Halloween mix for a kids’ treat or even a Halloween party!
I spread out a few big sheets of wax paper across our countertop, let the boys dump and mix all of the dry ingredients, and then let them drizzle the chocolate and sprinkles on top for an extra added touch. They love the opportunity to help in the kitchen so, this is extra exciting since it’s not something we do often.

Once we’re finished, we all sit together and snack straight from the bowl while watching the newest episodes of Halloween Wars. Sounds fun, right?! I love that this chocolate popcorn Halloween trail mix has the perfect touch of sweet, salty, smooth, and crunch!
